The views, suggestions and input of VCAT's clients, interested organisations and the Victorian community are an important part of the president's review.

With more than one million Victorians directly affected by VCAT decisions in any given year, the tribunal is keen to ensure that the needs and concerns of Victorians are fully considered.

To provide interested parties with the opportunity to provide feedback and information, VCAT has embarked on a comprehensive consultation process, which includes:

  • Holding a number of events for interested parties to attend such as industry workshops and focus groups;
  • A president's tour of regional Victoria to meet with members of rural Victorian communities;
  • Meeting face to face with stakeholders to hear their views and ideas;
  • Distribution of a Consultation Paper and Have Your Say Paper to encourage both professional bodies and members of the public to contribute to the review;
  • Launch of this review website where submissions and ideas can be emailed and comments made online; and
  • An online discussion that features a range of articles, which focus on issues relevant to the Victorian community that people can comment on.
